Vescent is an online mentoring community that supports teen girls’ mental well-being through real human connection, near-peer mentoring, and evidence-based skill building – without the pressure, comparison, or endless scrolling of traditional social media.
Our goal is simple: to help girls build confidence, resilience, and healthy digital habits in a safe, supportive environment.

Real Mentors. Carefully Supported.
Every Vescent participant is supported by a college-aged female mentor studying psychology, counseling, social work, education, or a related field. Mentors are:
Carefully screened, trained, and background-checked
Assigned to small groups of 1-4 girls for consistent, meaningful connection
Supervised by Vescent staff, including a psychology-trained Program Manager
This near-peer model helps girls feel seen, understood, and supported – while giving parents peace of mind.
Safety, Privacy, & Oversight
Your child’s safety comes first.
Active moderation: All activity is monitored by trained mentors and Vescent staff
Strong privacy protections:
- Feedback and surveys are de-identified
- Families can request data or account deletion at any time
- Vescent fully complies with COPPA and applicable privacy laws
Secure design: No public profiles, follower counts, or algorithm-driven feeds
Vescent is intentionally built to be safe, private, and supportive.

How We Measure Success
We don’t measure success by screen time or engagement metrics.
We focus on real outcomes, including:
- Healthier social media and AI use
- Stronger coping skills when encountering negative online content
- Increased confidence, resilience, and sense of belonging
These outcomes are tracked through surveys, mentor observations, and ongoing program data to ensure Vescent delivers meaningful, lasting impact.
